Los Angeles, CA – From the team that brought you the acclaimed book “SEX DEATH ROCK N ROLL” comes the comedic short film Not With My Daughter.

Not With My Daughter is a thought-provoking short written by Darren Gordon Smith (Repo! The Genetic Opera) and directed by Staci Layne Wilson (Fetish Factory). It stars Curt Lambert (The Fiancé) and Andrew McGee (American Horror Story) and features Heather Dorff (Truth or Dare).

Plot: With the help of his new-found guru – his daughter’s mystical 17-year-old boyfriend – a middle-aged man tries to stay relevant in a world that has passed him by.

Tagline: But… I don’t want to be irrelevant!

Director Staci Layne Wilson says, “The character of Chad the Irrelevant hits close to home for so many people in today’s fast-paced, youth-oriented world – Chad is not always the most politically correct guy, but his heart is in the right place. When he meets Ray, his daughter’s oddly magnetic boyfriend, Chad is quickly convinced he’s found a beacon of light in his otherwise humdrum life.”

The mini movie is slated for indie film festivals and serves as the pilot for a web-TV series now being shopped to producers.
