Pop singer-songwriter and actor Alexander James Rodriguez has been given this year’s Rising Star Award at the 2021 Hollywood Music in Media Awards for his debut single ‘My Crew’ which released on all platforms July 7, 2020.
Produced by Laney Stewart and written by Alex Jacke and Liz Rodriguez, ‘My Crew’ was recorded in North Hollywood, California just ahead of the tweens’ thirteenth birthday.
Even with only a lyric video, the pop record has had immense success amongst all ages and has a UK House Remix and Extended Remix from DJ Tempo Elektrik.
At this year’s prestigious event, two-time Grammy winner and Oscar nominee Kenny Loggins is receiving the Career Achievement honor. The Footloose singer-songwriter will also perform during the HMMA event
