LOS ANGELES — Stuart Vevers’ Spring 2027 runway presentation for Coach celebrated the brand’s 85th anniversary with an effortless, rebellious spirit tailor-made for Southern California. Blending upcycled American denim, distressed baseball glove leather, and slouchy calf-high Western boots, the collection captured the quintessential ease of California luxury with downtown New York grit.
From Silver Lake creative studios to West Hollywood rooftop gatherings, the West Coast wardrobe demands high style without rigid formality. Vevers delivered precisely that: vintage denim jackets reconstructed with mismatched washes, paired over slouchy calf-high Western boots and breezy layered separates that move effortlessly between day and night.

Reconstructed Americana: Upcycled Vintage Denim & Distressed Leather
Rather than manufacturing artificial vintage effects, Coach sourced secondhand Levi’s denim and pre-owned leather outerwear, unpicking and reassembling them into one-of-a-kind statement pieces. Faded indigo tones paired against rich cognac baseball glove leathers gave the runway an authentic, sun-faded West Coast patina.
The standout footwear piece of the season—a slouchy, soft-calf Western boot—reinterprets traditional cowboy styling with casual ease, designed to fold naturally around the ankle whether styled under cropped trousers or bare legs beneath slip dresses.

Front Row Hollywood & Coach Club 85
Young Hollywood turned out in full force to support Vevers’ vision, gathering in intimate banquettes before celebrating at the Coach Club 85 afterparty with signature Tanqueray ‘Coach 85’ cocktails. The event underscored Coach’s magnetic connection to the creative zeitgeist bridging New York and Los Angeles.
