Mom’s Choice Award-Winning Mutasia to Exhibit at the 20th Annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books

Award-winning Mutasian Entertainment LLC ( has announced today that it is participating in this year’s Los Angeles Times Festival of Books being held April 18th and 19th, 2015 on the USC campus. Mutasian Entertainment will exhibit in the McCarthy Quad red zone at booth 535.

Mutasia is proud to be attending this year’s 20th annual Los Angeles cultural event and present its award-winning illustrated children’s storybooks, in both traditional and digital formats. The team at Mutasia will showcase the thrilling adventures from the wacky island of Mutasia, where the inhabitants are a mix of two or more different animals. Mutasia’s exciting and humorous multimedia content, and unique characters, encourage children to embrace individuality, accept differences and inspire them to try new things.

The award-winning company recently picked up six prestigious gold Mom’s Choice Awards. The four books to win the Gold Seal were: ‘Land of Illogical and Utterly Impossible Critters,’ written by Rob Broadhurst, Suzanne Cotsakos, William McCulloch and Susan Menzies, Figley’s New Favorite Food,’ written by Suzanne Cotsakos and Chelsea Menzies, ‘Clubhouse Clash,’ written by the award-winning elementary school teacher, Justin Minkel, and ‘The Endless Caverns,’ written by the award-winning elementary school teacher, Michael Flynn. Mutasia also won Gold Seals for their ‘Nature Calls’ music album and their Figley plush toy.

Mutasia has also been awarded with Honorable Mention for ‘Figley’s New Favorite Food’ by the Los Angeles Book Festival and Pacific Rim Book Festival.

In addition to books, the team at Mutasia has developed animation, music CD’s, soft plush toys, as well as educational packs for teachers, book marks, stickers, and mobile coloring apps for children available for the iPhone and iPad.
